Westin Homes - Sunterra 50'

I cannot urge people enough to steer clear of this home builder in Sunterra. We just got an inspection of our house after being here for just under a year and there are so many things wrong. Not only that but now they are saying that virtually none of it is “under warranty” including the window that leaks water into our dining room every time it rains… We haven’t even been here for a full year and we have spent 10s of thousands on repairs. It’s simply not worth it. Go with someone else

We have lived in our house for 4 months now and the never ending issues have completely ruined what should have been an amazing moment in me and my wife’s lives. The first red flag was that they never mentioned they don’t install garage door openers or grass in the backyard until we had already placed a deposit. We then did our walkthrough and placed blue tape on the places that obviously needed to be touched up. On our second walk through not a SINGLE item was finished. I was promised by the project manager “JR” that it would be done before closing. We closed on the house and picked up our keys and sure enough not a single thing had been finished. There was still tape in the house and we could see where they simply removed it instead of fixing it. 4 months later they still haven’t fixed

Very disappointed to have to write this review. How difficult is it to provide a quality customer experience? Our initial interactions with Charles were fantastic! But when my realtor and I started asking more direct and complex questions he turned very difficult and disinterested. I tried going to the sales office to ask a few questions while Charles was out but Kirk (I believe it was his name) refused to help. According to him, because we were already working with Charles, he couldn't answer something as simple as adding appliances and blinds. Since he would not commission from answering my questions he would not provide any help. This is a beautiful community, it's a shame that a reputable builder has salespeople with such a poor mentality to only care for easy sales. I don't believe

I came here to leave a positive review and was shocked to see the previous negative comments/reviews. It looks like the staffing had changed before our visit, but we had nothing but an amazing experience with Brian. He has been in the industry for a long time, which made him very easy to trust being so knowledgeable. Throughout the process, he felt like a friend who only wanted the best for us. Sunterra ultimately ended up being too far from the area we needed to be, but Brian helped guide us in the right direction. We plan to buy a Westin because of HIM! The product is gorgeous and puts all the other builders to shame. I hope to make it back to Sunterra one day…

Awful experience with Westin Home and Kirk hidden info.I was trying to buying a home from them .5064 steady breeze location and the home have a lot issues.Today 11/18 /24.After waiting almost 2 months and tons text and mails to Kirk and Kirk manager they decide don’t give earnest money. 9/17 received an email stating Westin Homes would not be signing the clarification and that the buyer could sign closing instructions (which I had already explained the underwriting was not accepting) 9/20 - Final walk was moved to Tuesday @10am 9/23 - Received text that we were approved to move closing to October 1st as I am a nurse and schedules are prepared in advance so I could not take off for the 9/23 closing. NO mention of a $200 per day extension fee. At this point we still had not received the am
