Westgate Apartments

This apartment complex is one of the best ones I have lived in. Spacious apartment with a garage and a balcony. The complex is very quiet even being next to a busy road. Maintenance is quick to respond to any needs and management is very efficient. Laundry facilities were always well maintained. Location is very conveniently located and close to anything you might need. Application process was easy and move out a breeze! I really hated having to leave because of a job promotion.

I previously lived here for about 5 years. We lived in one apartment that was destroyed by the derecho and then had to move to another apartment. Which I will start by saying, although I was grateful we had another place to go, the process was a difficult one. Sheila, the apartment manger, I think is what she would be, didn't seem very understanding of the problematic financial situation that put me in. She requested that we pay another deposit for another apartment and said she couldn't transfer the old deposit to the new apartment. She pushed us to move out of our old apartment before there was any electricity back in the city and so we moved in the middle of the week, in the summer heat, from third floor to third floor with no air and nothing packed. I currently live here. Huge rooms, quiet and well maintained. Landlord is quick to respond. Only negative is snow removal company isnt very quick to respond Changing my review after I moved out. Place was spotless and she held all if my deposit. Mad because I had a kitten but had letter from dr as emotional support animal. Carpet was stained and nasty when I moved in but charged me although it was written on my move in sheet.

Lived here for a year and it was one of the worst apartments I’ve lived in, walls are all concrete so your place is always muggy, maintenance is always coming in your apartment with 1 day notice and never knocks. And land lord is so rude and always in your business, she’s always roaming the property and looking in windows if your blinds are open

Lived here and would not recommend it, landlord is always roaming the property looking to scold you for any little thing, always bothering you about something, and if you want something fixed in your apartment she’ll always blame you for breaking it. The place is peaceful but the management is not worth it.
