Westchester West Apartments

Long time resident of the Westchester West Apartments. They do not care about managing their properties at all while their fees go up. Definitely better apartment options in the area. They’re also too busy towing their own residents due to having a lack of sufficient parking in the area since the increase in residents. (Many promises to fix this issue YEARS ago - no change or plan in sight.) the rodent + roach issues from other reviews are real & a health hazard and a known long-time issue.

Things are getting better , clean and safe !! New security cameras around to get us and our cars more safe and trash Area are been kept very clean every day !! Thanks a lot for the new administration! Property manager Sarah and the new guy at the office is working hard to get improvements and every single time I go to the office they work quick and efficiently at the top of that they are even working to get my rent payment reduced with Montgomery county , just amazing! I’m very well treated ! Definitely getting my lease renewed and I can see that our community will be one of the safest and best to leave in silver spring!

This is unacceptable _ unprofessional as well. The Maintenance guys should not be cleaning up the trash. Every single morning I see maintenance cleaning up this nasty garbage all around the dumpsters and is definitely not something they shouldn't be doing and probably don't get paid for. There is a rodent problem outside and somewhat inside. Donaldson group has to improve in order for it to actually be worth living in these apartments. Think hard and do your research before considering residency. There are two women I like to applaud I may say. Nareska & Catherine they have been great employees at Westchester West. They are very professional and get things done efficient. I feel they can use more support and help!

Do not move here. One the mice here are terrible and roaches . They eat through all your belongings. They made my 86 year old mom get evicted all because she didn’t renew her lease . Like this is just so sad . And nobody complains so the problem just makes it worse . Catching mice everyday

They deserve absolutely no stars. I have a laundry list of problems in my apartment I sent way back when I moved in. Stapled blinds, stickers in the shower that started peeling on DAY 1, mice which they had somebody come in for but then NEVER CLOSED THE DAMN HVAC UP that’s been again open since I moved in…so now there’s another mouse, a wall that was cut up and simply placed back in the square it was cut from, a balcony that looks like it could cave in any day. The list goes on, DONT MOVE HERE unless you absolutely have nowhere else to go. I’ve already been apartment hunting since JUNE, lease not up until December but December isn’t coming fast enough… Honestly could not be more disgusted with this place. Then the residents aren’t much better.
