Westchester Modular Homes

This review is for the factory tour as I haven’t build a house with them yet: the employees providing the tour as well as anyone my wife and I spoke with were very informative, helpful and provided great customer service. I want to particularly highlight Lucas and the lady from the cafeteria (don’t know her name). My wife and I visited for a tour with our baby and we were informed babies were not allowed in the tour for safety reasons which I completely understand. They offered us to go in the tour in turns and I went first but since it was the last tour of the day, Lucas personally took the time to provide a tour for my wife. Not only that but during our time there he seemed genuinely interested in providing a great experience for us and it was a great guy in general to speak with. There

My mother and I recently purchased the Concord home from Westchester Modular Homes and were initially happy with the process of working with the salesperson and builder who distributes their homes, BUT after the house was delivered the customer service to fix problems with the home has been completely unacceptable. We purchased the home from Westchester because there were good reviews about their homes and their customer service, which I’m now questioning the accuracy of those reviews and felt compelled to leave what might be a more honest review and assessment of their modular homes for other buyers who may be considering their company. They talked about being a family run and employee owned company that cares about their product, which was a great sales pitch, but talk is cheap and act

My first husband and I purchased the home on 16 sycamore Blvd right at the top of the hill in that development..we were very happy with how easy and how professional everyone was. It was so much fun picking the colors of our house, shingles, carpets, and even windows that open in so you can clean them from the inside.its been over 20 years.. and the house is still in great shape..I don't know why anyone would have problems with Westchester modular homes...

Westchester is a SCAM! Our chalet style modular home cost us tens of thousands of dollars in fixes and repairs. They distance themselves from every step of the process, hiring 3rd party vendors and builders making it impossible to resolve issues directly. They demand payment the day of delivery, huge red flag. They installed the wrong heating system, wrong color windows, fixtures, and a kitchen in such poor quality it had to be replaced by us. Our gable roof was installed incorrectly so we did not get the cathedral ceiling as designed and they damaged many shingles. The materials are cheap, the construction is outdated and the quality is embarrassing for what we paid for. Stairs are not to code, doors and hallways are smaller than standard. Absolute nightmare from start to finish. The entire process is arguably a film flam. Jon and Tony failed to incorporate most everything we asked for in our design. The quality of materials and workmanship was on par with a seventh grade shop class and the erection crew was equally pathetic. Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. In the end it saved me no time and cost me an additional small fortune to fix all of there poor work. And of course they require all the money on delivery before you can inspect the piece of garbage they deliver so don’t expect to get reimbursed for anything. I honestly don’t know how these people sleep at night .
