West Square Apartments

My fiancé, our puppy, and I had the pleasure of calling West Square home for a year — and we truly wish it could have been longer! West Square is by far the most accommodating and genuinely dog-friendly apartment complex in South Boston.nThe concierge team was incredible — always warm, helpful, and ready with a smile (and the occasional treat for our dog!). It felt like being greeted by friends every time we walked through the front doors. Management was responsive, professional, and handled every question or need we had with ease. Whether it was a maintenance request or a quick clarification, everything was addressed quickly and kindly. Leaving West Square was purely due to life plans, otherwise we would have stayed without a second thought. Highly recommend for anyone — especially pet

I lived in West Square for three years and didn’t have many issues. When I did, maintenance was quick to respond and fix the problem. The front desk staff were excellent. They are very friendly, remembered my name and unit number whenever I would receive a package. The gym and parking was a nice perk as well. A mile walk to seaport and close to the southie restaurants and bars on Broadway. I would recommend this building to a friend if they were moving to southie.

My girlfriend and I have been living at West Square for two years and we still love it. The location is perfect, with great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in Southie all within walking distance. The attached parking garage is a huge plus and makes coming and going super convenient. The building is always clean, the gym is well equipped, and maintenance takes care of any issues quickly. We moved from one unit to another and the team, especially Benny, made the process easy and stress free. What we appreciate most is how management has really stepped up in the past few months to improve the property. I lived here for 1 year in a 1 bedroom, and recently upgrade to a 2 bedroom with my girlfriend. I experienced a leak in my one bedroom when I first moved in and the management company + maintenance is quick and responsive, and the apartment was fixed quickly. West Square is a great value given the location and amenities!

Do not move here! I guarantee that your hot water heater will flood your apartment. At least once per month one of the units would flood. They do not care. They will not pay your insurance deductible. They will not compensate you. Outside and inside your apartment for one week will be 5 dehumidifiers that run and need to be emptied every few hours. Plus they illegally had corporate rentals inside the building. So yeah, Strangers would check in and check out like a hotel. In your apartment building. The city of Boston gave them a fine every day. They did not care.
