Wedgewood on the Green Apartments

I am currently closing in on my tenth year of living at wedgewood on the green and I can say my living experience has never been better. The maintenance staff always does a terrific job handling any issue I’ve had quickly and correctly. The office and management staff are very accommodating and keep an open line of communication. We had some unruly neighbors a while back and the office was great at addressing the issue. In addition nothing beats the central location for all of Henrietta. I look forward to staying at Wedgewood on the green for many years to come.

I have lived at Wedgewood on the Green for almost 10 years and have felt at home from day one. The apartments have a lot of natural light from large windows and double balcony- or patio doors. The white painted brick walls inside give it character. The apt is warm and for summer days there is air conditioning. The complex has a neighborhood feel, residents are calm and friendly in my experience. You can barely hear your neighbors above, below or next to you, if at all. Maintenance inside and out is to be commended. The office staff has always been personable and professional. I like coming home to my apartment.

Pro’s: excellent location, feels like a very safe environment, maintenance crew does a great job Con’s: The plumbing (at least in my building) is horrible. If you plan to live here, don’t plan on showering. Water temperature is subject to the whims of the gods in that moment, and changes with both extreme frequency and temperature variation. You’ll experience all known water temps during the course of your shower, no matter how quick you are. Most importantly (for me) is that the annual rent increase is essentially out of control. This is very likely the last year I’ll be able to afford to live here. This would be an ideal place to live, but the rent doesn’t in any way adhere to average inflation. You should only consider this complex if you can afford far more than the current rent, and

Love the apartment and size, perfect for an older couple. We like the community and have not had any issues with any staff or neighbors. We like the convenience of being centrally located to just about anywhere we need to travel.

I very much regret moving here. They told us balconies would be fixed in 2 weeks, I lived there a year and a half and they never fixed it, told us they weren’t safe to go on. Balconies were a large appeal to me I never got to enjoy. They let themselves into your apartment, one time they even knocked on the door of the bath when I was in the bath with my son. People do all sorts of illegal drugs in the garages. My boyfriend has seen people sniffing things off their dashboards in their apartments Mail man writes passive aggressive stuff on your mail. Whole time I lived there I felt unwelcome, I thought this was how apartments were as this was my first one but after moving I realized it’s better literally any where else.
