Wausau Columns Apartment

Do not rent from here at all. I reported multiple times about black mold for a year and they refused to do anything about it. When I moved out I wasn’t at the apartment and came back to the place trashed and my moving boxes rummaged though. Lucky for me I took photos of when I first moved and the day I moved out for evidence. Donna will make things up or break things herself to make people pay.

DO NOT rent from these criminals! Upon move out they will do everything they can to screw you out of your security deposit! They are trying to charge me $110 for routine carpet cleaning which is strictly against Wisconsin state law. Not only that but they are trying to charge me 195$ to replace a toilet that was badly stained PRIOR to me moving in and the manager Donna knew full well. They are crooks, plain and simple, I'm currently fighting to get my money back so do yourself a favor and stay away.

Donna who runs the apartments has to be called 3-5 times before something is to be done. And same thing with the maintenance guy. We were on their good side so we got most of our deposit back. From that even with picture proof of something donna would try to lie her way out of things.

I've lived in the Collumns for 3 years in total and have had nothing but rough service/ support from the landlord and rental company.

This management has a google review of 1.8, which is an awkwardly truthful reflection on what this management is all about. They lie and rip people off with unreasonable fees. Please stay away from this property at any cost.
