Washington Lane Apartments

Here almost 3 yrs. I haven't had any problems with apartment. No issues with mice or roaches. Maintenance and management are really responsive. No issues with the surrounding neighborhood. I can honestly say it's not the building it's the tenants, it's an apartment bldg so yes the walls are a lil thin but some of these tenants yell and stomp around over your head and the hall ways and will steal your packages. Only issue I have is the increases annually to the rent they are a bit extreme.

It was a good apartment complex but it has had its issues with bugs and mice. They usually did contact pest control to fix the issues. The maintenance worker was great and always helped when we called. The area is not very good though and gunshots can be heard a lot.

Raising rent close to 25% when inflation is only 9%. Walls are paper thin and sometimes you can hear gun shots at night Reducing my review to 2 stars because they charged me $95 fee for a bounced check. That is triple what anyone else charges. Was able to resolve the issues above this I am updating my review.

The apartments are probably filled with mold. There was a gap between the floor and the wall in my kitchen. Mold started to grow up my table legs and chairs. The landlord asked me "Have you taken any vacations or anything like that?" as if that would be the problem. I've spent weeks away from previous apartments and have never had mold growing on the table and chairs. There was mold growing on the walls in my bedroom too, which they painted over and called it fixed. No inspections or anything. Just paint. Would you be surprised if I said it grew back within the month? You shouldn't be. Either the bathtub or toilet flooded when I went away on vacation a different time. I’ve been living here for 3 years . Haven’t really had any major issues , when I did have some minor issues the maintenance people were always on top of everything. It’s usually quiet the apartment building that I live in is pretty clean no roaches or mice running around which is always a plus !!!
