Our realtor was Larrena Overton. Larrena rained magic on our home buying experience. She remained available, and responded with a sense of urgency and delight. She did more than set up houses for viewings we would mention and additionally ones that she found knowing they matched our needs. She also showed up organized, well informed, and let us take our time while viewing. She worked well with other realtors to give us quick answers to all types of questions. She negotiated well on our behalf. If that wasn’t enough, when she found out our baby was experiencing some complications and we were going to need to finish the close three weeks earlier than planned. She worked with the mortgage brokers (as we switched mid way on her), sellers, and title company to complete the negotiations,

If you enjoy being in nature and are not afraid of a tough climb then this is something to behold. Paradise on Earth are the only words that come close to describing this heavenly mountain range. It has been nicknamed the Oregon Alps for good reason. The Matterhorn can be found at Ice Lake. I had an evening of pure bliss camping at the base of the Matterhorn. With the place to myself and not another soul for miles, you quickly realize that you are not at the top of the food chain and it would be wise to respect nature and the animals that live here. I have owned property in Wallowa county since 1992 and have had numerous property managers over the years. Wallowa Mt Properties is absolutely the worst. They don’t return phone calls. They spend money on needless repairs without authorization. They don’t disperse monies to the owners in a timely fashion. They didn’t even file a 1099 with the IRS so I could do my taxes. They did not rent my property out at the agreed amount. The list is endless. Be warned!
