Vista Palms

I love it here! I've been here for the last 5 years! Great staff especially the assistant manager Myeasha she's such a sweet heart. Since she's started she's helped me with all my needs. Maintenance is always fast and efficient. Just renewed my lease for another year here. I love calling this place home.

I haven't had any issues with other residents. I always take my trash to the nearest dumpster. I do use the laundry room. I agree in having the pool area only open during business hours. People still litter the premises, which would happen almost anywhere these days. I try to be an ideal resident and can always fill out a work request for any maintenance repairs. Another 1 star review because this apartment continues to disappoint. I had my A/C AND stove not working today, I put in request online and even called the emergency maintenance line multiple times and left countless voicemails. Google says offices open on Sat but they are not. I would think not being able to use my kitchen stove IS an emergency as I could not feed myself or family. And not being able to have A/C with this heat is just shameful. Not to mention the emergency maintence calls get forwarded over to the manager and SHE decides whether or not your issues are actually important or whether or not to send someone out. I continue to be let down by this place.

Been here maybe two months. Thought I was gonna get A pool-time on the weekends. That’s not gonna happen. It is only opened Monday through Friday 8 to 5. We cannot have a normal job Living in this apartment. Second just got a notice today that now the laundry room is only open Monday through Friday 10 to 5 ….again I work 8 to 5. How am I supposed to do laundry: what am I supposed to do with the money that’s on the card this place is not what I signed the lease for. I expected a pool. I expected a laundry room to be available when I needed it.. I even expected a grill. It says it was noted there. Still nothing grass hasn’t been cut for over two weeks. I can’t even go out there in the morning before work as I get a little weeds all over my dress this place is a shame if I could break my leas

I chose Vista Palms first because it's .6 miles to the Tampa VA hospital. Also, considering the hurricanes, it's older with brick walls yet newly refurbished. It doesn't flood as far as I know though. I've had two work orders that were promptly and successfully fixed. With our world of apps and automations, it's wise to call ahead before visiting the office. Myesha is there most of the time and she's very professional and helpful. I don't leave many Google ratings but in our world where the complaints are always the loudest, praise needs to be both expressed and heard. Scott
