Vista Lago at the Hammocks

I recently sold my home around the area and came one day looking for rent. From the very first moment I met Sarah she was extremely helpful and attentive. She assisted me with the move in process and documentation making this transition smoothly and less stressful. I’ve been here since December and love my apartment along with the community in general. Beautiful lake access, amenities,clean and most importantly a great team including leasing and maintenance. Without a doubt I recommend Vista Lago.

Our family relocated from California and discovered this hidden gem of a community in Vista Lago. The scenery is stunning and incredibly peaceful. From the moment we arrived, the management team at Vista Lago was welcoming and helpful. I truly appreciate their commitment to keeping the community clean and their proactive communication, especially during hurricane season. We've made many wonderful friends just by walking the trails. The pool is well-maintained and warm for most of the year—after all, this is Miami! After nearly six months here, we feel so grateful for the amazing memories we've created. We never want to leave! :)

I am an owner at Vista Lago and recently needed urgent assistance from the management office regarding a tenant approval but was unable to reach anyone. I called the leasing office and was fortunate to speak with Sarah Velez. Although she is not part of the management team, she took the time to listen and kindly followed up on my behalf to help resolve the issue. Her willingness to step in and assist, even though it wasn’t her responsibility, made all the difference. Thank you, Sarah!

Nice area, but terrible management. After moving out, I regretted not leaving sooner. I’ll keep it short, but here are just some of the issues: 1. Unauthorized entry: Management entered our apartment without notice while I was at work, and our dogs escaped. A neighbor saw them and first called the office, but management said they “couldn’t do anything.” The neighbor then called the police, and officers responded and filed a report documenting the incident. 2. Maintenance issues: They schedule appointments and either don’t show up or arrive the next day without notice, expecting you to be home as if you don’t work. 3. Unfair fees and tactics: When I asked to transfer to the same unit type at a $300 lower rate, they demanded another application fee. But after I gave notice to move out, they

The management team is amazing. They go above and beyond to get things done. I’m always greet it with a smile. The apartment is very spacious and affordable.
