Villas at Riverside

My husband and I have loved living at the Villas at Riverside! The apartments are so nice, and the area feels very safe! The managers were always so reachable and accommodating! They are some very kind and genuine people! It was also a great home for our teacup maltipoo, as the apparent complex is very dog friendly! These are easily the nicest apartments I have lived in / seen in the shoals area!

Absolutely do not recommend! Can verify what others have mentioned, staff is definitely rude. Maintenance does not care to properly addressing the issues at hand so they inevitably become more significant. Unfortunately in my unit, maintenance concealed water damage with paint and did not identify the source of water. As you would expect, mold became a visible concern. Little to no responsibility was taken, repairs were not completed as they had agreed and, there is a huge lack of integrity amongst staff/corporate members. There are tons of apartments in the shoals area that offer top tier service and care about their tenants. Please do your research and consider the repetitive reviews.

** Must read review!!! ** Moved into this complex as a new member of the shoals community back in 2022 just a few months before new management took over the property. At the time, we were happy and thought the community was a perfect fit our family of three. Fairly quickly, things were being treated with frustration and involved bare minimum effort. I discovered water damage in my apartments master/guest bedroom and, reported it in as an after hours maintenance emergency. The following morning, maintenance came by with a bucket of paint and covered all visible water damage without identifying the water source. I was constantly feeling unwell and continued reported musty smells, but of course nobody was able to identify what I was reporting! Eventually I noticed there was some odd growth

This would probably be a 4 star review, but this complex advertises itself as a "luxury apartment" and after living here for 2 years, I can definitely say that is not. The office staff is incredibly rude. There were times in the first few months when I moved in that I would put in for a maintanence request and the office manager would call and basically tell me that doesn't need to be fixed. The dog poop is everywhere and doesn't get picked up, the lawn is stained from the dog pee also. The gym is hardly a gym, it is just a few cardio machines and light dumbbells and a cable machine that doesn't work properly. I've reported the cable machine a few times and it was never fixed. I loved living at Villas at Riverside. The apartment management and maintenance staff are friendly, quick, and do their jobs well. My year at the property was safe, comfortable, and convenient to both Muscle Shoals and Florence. The apartments themselves are modern and up to date. The pool is such an added bonus for relaxation. Truly a peaceful and comfortable place to live.
