Do not recommend this place. It’s like living in a motel. They claim to include utilities and be fully furnished, but there are many hidden fees and draw backs. Their WiFi runs at best at 4-10 MBs a second. No dish washer. No central heating/AC. You have to pay to use the public laundry machines. The place could not be cheaper.
Honestly, living at Villager Apartments was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. My first unit had mice, and the second one was full of ants and other bugs even though I kept everything clean. The place was also freezing in the winter because the doors had gaps that let cold air in. The heater was useless since the only sensor is in the kitchen, the kitchen stayed warm while my room froze. On top of that, the walls are so poorly built that you can hear your neighbors as if they’re in the same room with you, which made it impossible to feel comfortable or get real peace and quiet. And after all that, they still charged me $157 for “cleaning” when I moved out, even though I left it just as clean as the other places I lived in before (where I was never charged a dime). Between the
Lived here for a 6 month lease as a student in a non student unit. Had no problems and the rent price was great! Denice was an awesome property manager too; she was very helpful and prompt. This is what I did with my room.
I enjoyed my lease here for two years as a student. Noise was low, maintenance was regularly maintained with the grass and walkway during the winter. If any maintenance was happening for the building an email/text would be sent out to give you a heads up. Complex is good for students who want to live close due to walking distance to Unr. Front office is always willing to help in any instance if having trouble with the place. Overall, place felt friendly, safe, clean, and cozy.
Love this place. I lived here as a student for a year and a half. Office people always so helpful and fun to interact with. Maintenance was always on top of what I needed fixed; they would always fix the issue within the hour. Kept walkways clean of ice and snow. However, the fire alarms went off frequently in the kitchens, the ventilation needs improvement. The community parties were always fun to goto for free and the free rent raffle was a nice possibility. The night security guard made me feel safe, and in general the residents were decent people I felt fine being around.
