Village Hill

The 4 pics show how I keep my apartment. Freshly painted, I replaced all ceiling tiles in bathroom and it stays clean. The mold pictures is what is under furniture in bedroom , shoes and clothes in the closet and my very expensive bed. It didn’t grow overnight . I have to constantly clean , wipe down walls and furniture to keep mold away. The puddle on the floor comes from my sliding glass door leaking EVERYTIME IT RAINS! Instead of replacing the door , they caulked the brick outside when clearly you can tell it has nothing to do with the brick. The dumpster area that we pay trash for , stays like pictured . Countless of times my child’s father has cleaned it up just to make this place presentable. The gutters are full, they don’t power wash the siding which has mold up and down it. Inst

One star is honestly too much. This place doesn’t deserve that. Apartments filled with mold, it’s ran by slumlords. Super unprofessional staff. You put in a maintenance request it goes unfulfilled until you go to the office. Most of the time they aren’t even there. Don’t give them a call because they never pick up. Mold in the dishwasher, in the appliance closet, & in the bathroom. When I signed my lease my utilities were included, then about a year in they said I would have to pay for it all myself never asked me to sign a new lease. So as far as I know that’s illegal. Village Hill has went down hill since new ownership in 2020. You can put in maintenance request over 10 times before any one addresses it. They allow druggies to sleep in laundry room, stairways, vacant apartments not to mention the one bedrooms bldgs stairway is covered in feces and urine. The moment you stand up for what’s right, you have a target on your back. It’s a shame what this place WAS back before it turned into slum apartments! My dad and I have lived here for over 10 yrs and they treat us terribly! The pool is green and will be shut down most of the summer because they refuse to hire someone to upkeep the pool and ensure the proper chemicals levels. I began renting in Village Hills Apts in Nov of 2024. I have had nothing but good dealings with the office and the maintenance crew. I've had a couple of items that needed fixed in my apt and the maintenance crew have always been right on top of those items. I would highly recommend Village Hills aka Patriot Walker to someone who is in the search for a new place to live. 1 con- they do not have a playground for children, my children are grown and raised but I always think about things like that as if mine were still young. There is plenty of yard area to play so that's not an issue there just is no swings or a slide for the children. Maybe they will put one in. I’ve been renting from patriot walker/village hill apartments for over 25 years and it has been nothing but a positive experience, especially since Carlina has began working there. Carlina is incredibly helpful, kind, and always goes above and beyond. It’s a pleasure renting here and I highly recommend it.
