They accept housing vouchers/Section 8, so keep in mind who your neighbors may be. Meanwhile, they continuously raise rent on working tenants. During my time living there, I filed multiple noise complaints on my neighbor that were ignored by management. The walls are extremely thin, making it hard to have any peace at home. When I finally decided to move out, they kept my security deposit and even tried to charge me an additional month’s rent—despite the fact that someone else had already moved into my old unit during that time!!! How greedy is that? Overall, this place is shady, greedy, and unprofessional. I do not recommend renting here.

My sister was a long time tenant and unfortunately she passed in April. I informed the office of her passing and asked what I needed to do in order to secure her security deposit. I am her only sibling and she wasn’t married nor had children. Our parents are deceased and I am the next of kin. After getting the run around I was give a list of things they required in order to get her deposit back. I submitted everything they asked for to no avail. I’ve spoken to a few former tenants and it appears that it’s their policy to try and keep deposits although they have no legal right to. Shame on you Blue Hen, are they so unsympathetic and greedy that they would deny what’s rightfully someone else’s

Building structures including deck and roof are in poor condition, water is brown and will make you sick, cause cancer and damage things it comes in contact with. They will take you for all of your money and charge insane fees but will not update the property or do anything about the poisonous water. All they care about is curb appeal and money. You might not recieve your packages or mail or food deliveries and your car may get broken into as well. But they will make sure to charge you up!! They charge more to live on a higher floor but dont disclose that to you. They priced us right out of a home because they raised their prices every single chance they get.

Apartments are poorly built. The walls are so thin you can hear every step your neighbor takes. New management are awful liars. Do your research because there are better apartments available in Dover at lower rates.

Loud and noisy neighbors that smoke weed all day and don't have jobs. Filed 5 noise complaints and the staff didn't care. Section 8 housing, the stairwells are filthy. They lie to your face about move out procedures and then tell you you need 2 months notice and steal your security deposit even though you left the apartment better than you found it.
