Villa Monterey Apartments

The drain flows now so that is good and that gets 5 stars. BUT the repair has caused pools of water from the snaked pipe during the recent maintenance . It seems the sink water is coming out of the pipe cuz the nut is crooked and or not secured into pipe. I will submit maintenance request today 2-21-26

Nothing is really taken care of in a timely manner. And the rent keeps increasing and these places are dirty and not taken care of. Carpets are old and really dirty. Its takes a miracle from God to get anything replaced and it cost arm and a leg. The neighbors are terrible but nothing is ever done . The ground keepers don't cut the roses and I get cut on a daily bases. The new handyman is terrible. The washers are so gross they leave black stains on everything and the dryers burn 🔥 my clothes. Also the laundry rooms are so dirty I have to sweep them before I go in there. It looks like no one ever cleans them. The cement outside is so uneven I tripped and smashed my face and knee . I have to get a cat scan on my face and a mri on my knee and leg. There is so much more. Not to mention the

Living in Paradise, Ca… A small town in the country where everyone is just trying to recover and move forward after the 2018 Camp Fire. Hignell never misses the opportunity to raise our rent, not by $20, or $50 annually… They raised my rent by $150 and continue to raise the rent as much as they legally can every year. Charging “city apartment” prices in a small town setting isn’t even close to fair.

The apartments are very nice and I love sitting at the pool with my kids. There are flowers everywhere and a core group of residents makes it feel like an actual neighborhood, especially during the amazing holiday parties.

The apartment was nicer than I expect. Lots of cabinets in kitchen and plenty of closet space.
