Verandahs at Cliffside

My daughter recently applied for an apartment through a third-party service called OneApp and was approved with a scheduled move-in date of 02/18. What should have been an exciting experience turned into a complete nightmare. When we arrived, the apartment was absolutely unacceptable. The exterior was filthy. Inside, the kitchen cabinets were missing and still dirty. The marble surrounding the fireplace was broken into pieces — and management actually told her to “glue it” herself. That is completely unprofessional and unsafe. She was initially promised $500 off March’s rent and two weeks free. However, when it came time to sign the lease, the rent had suddenly increased by $200, and the rent credit was pushed back to April. The terms changed at the last minute with no clear explanation.

This is my second year living here. We will not be renewing our lease again it was a mistake to renew the lease the first time that’s when we started having issues with our down stairs neighbors banging on our ceiling and always smoking cigarettes. Now we have another neighbor who smokes weed inside their apartment, so ours always wreaks of weed and cigarettes. Management says they have no available units to relocate us to and if we want to move we’ve had to pay to break the lease. Pretty messed up to make a family with a toddler and a baby on the way to go through. Business is business I guess. Some people in the office seem pretty nice but I wouldn’t recommend these apartments.

Love these apartments so much! Gabriella was extremely helpful in getting my lease quick and without any issues! She was very kind and answered all of my questions. The view from my patio is amazing and I see myself renewing again next year! P.S. There are some fun events that were announced this month!

First let me start with as a recently divorced woman starting a new chapter of my life customer service like the kind I received from Ruthie is more appreciated than anyone could know. I didn't feel sold or rushed. She listened and took her time with understanding my needs. Her gentle nature is was such an asset. Lived there and any of the maintenance guys keep up w cleaning green areas so pet waste is everywhere,,, my dog got sick and I did notify them, many weird stuff happened there and police were there every weekend… Homeless people living secretly in the storage spaces they have there as well,,, Management are rude and discriminatory! One coward white guy said horrible things to me and my eye that got affected after a car accident! Don’t go there to waste your time all they want is your money with fake promises, gates are wide open! They don’t have the services for the price they charge! Don’t waste your money there!
