Venue on 16th

This company, Greystar, and the management running Venue on 16th do not care about you as a tenant or a person. I have listed below the issues I have dealt with in my two years there for anyone reading to consider before signing a lease. - Both winters multiple pipes burst and many units including mine were severely flooded. The building flooded at lease 3-4 times while I lived there due to shotty pipes and poor construction. After one severe flooding it took over a year for both side entrances to be repaired and accessible again. Almost always there is either a garage door or elevator out of service, creating both convenience and safety concerns. I cannot say enough great things about our property manager, Melisa! She has been absolutely wonderful—kind, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive from start to finish. Every step of the leasing process was made effortless because of her clear communication and genuine care. Anytime I had a question or needed help, she was always available and responded quickly, which gave me so much peace of mind. I also have to mention how amazing the maintenance guy, Darian, is. He is incredibly friendly, quick to respond, and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. Since the new management took over, there have been so many great improvements at the property. You can really feel the difference in how things are being run. Andrew in the leasing office has been incredibly helpful, friendly, always available to answer questions, and really makes you feel welcome. Melisa, the property manager, is professional, organized, and clearly committed to making this a better place to live. She’s done a great job leading the transition. And I’ve got to give a shoutout to Mike, the maintenance supervisor. He’s quick, reliable, and goes above and beyond to make sure issues are taken care of promptly and properly. Overall, it’s been a really positive change, and it’s clear this new team truly cares about the residents.

Went to take a tour of the property and what a beautiful building it is, the property is well taken care of and the staff is an absolute pleasure to be around. Melissa greeted me with so much respect and attentiveness i already felt at home. Well touring we ran it to the maintenance team who also welcomed me. Darian and melissa answered all the questions i had with superior knowledge of the property. 10 out of 10 stars if i could rate that high!! Will definitely be applying here!

Have lived here for just over a year now so safe to say I’ve seen some of the ups and downs. New management for the building has been helpful, they don’t seem to beat around the bush if issues come up and have been really good about communicating. I wanted to shoutout Zac too, this place was quickly turning into a pig sty but he’s been really on top of keeping all the spaces clean and homey. I know it’s not all perfect but seriously impressed by this new management.
