Vantage on Hillsborough Apartments

This place went downhill after the new property manager took over. She had my vehicle illegally towed because the plate was expired. When I asked why there wasn't a notice (as per the lease) she said she doesn't have time to read the lease and to get out of her office. A pipe leaked from the apartment above mine and left a brown stain which then turned to mold. I notified maintenance and they just spray painted over the mold. There is no restrictions on dog breeds and no one has them on leashes. There is off leash dogs running around this place every day. If you interested in moving here just sort the reviews lowest to highest. This company paid to cover up all their horrible, honest reviews left by REAL tenants. That alone should tell you how shady the Vantage is. Consider moving 10 m

I toured this apartment Today and honestly had a really good experience. The tour was great. they walked me through everything, answered all my questions, and gave me time to actually look around with no pressure. customer service really stood out. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. It made the whole experience smooth and welcoming.

Don't be fooled by the base rent and "luxury apartments" listed on their website. The new manager continues to add fees and change policies even though you're already in a lease. You always had the option if you wanted wifi as your own bill with Spectrum. Now, it's mandatory and added to your rent. The charge is more than I was paying separately and the wifi is even worse. The $40/month charge with valet trash is a joke because they never come. The community fees are pointless because the pool is always closed and the parcel locker is also shut down instead of correcting the issues with it. I've had my packages stolen from the parcel locker and my apartment door several times (even by the maintenance employees). The cops are always here, shady neighbors, solicitors, kids up to no good

I am writing this review to save people from making the mistake and moving to The Vantage. This place doesn’t care whatsoever about their residents, they just want your $$$ and don’t care about the environment and maintenance issues you will come across once you sign. Accidentally forget your phone, broken phone, or lose your phone? Well tough luck! Their stupid smart keypad does not allow you to enter a code or allow yourself in? You MUST use your phone. Speaking of entry, one of the entryways has been BROKEN for over a month and you cannot use it. The pool hasn’t worked since we moved in during the summer, the gym equipment is awful and broken and hasn’t been repaired since we moved in, the residents in the NEW PHASE leave their garbage outside their units and since this is an enclose

The new assistant manager made my day today, he was able to find me a beautiful apartment, help me with the application process and get me approved all in less than an hour. Wow I'm impressed!!! He got great selling and communication skills, I feel like at home already.
