Valor House

Look like a great place safe next the VA but it's full and I'm not allowed to be taken care here after becoming homeless for the second time in a year and half at 62 60 days after a triple bypass surgery. VA housing are trying to find a more permanent place but seeing delays with some paperwork.

Great Property Manager, Caring Doctors, medical staff, Therapists, Social Workers. ValorStaff are absolutely amazing. If you’re a Veteran. The Valor is great for housing, plus you’re on the SLC Foorhill Drive VA Campus. Your able to pay rent based on income or any other circumstances. Escaping a domestic PIP situation, addiction, i’m great. How are you? recovery issues.

I am very happy to be living and rebuilding my life here at Valor House in Salt Lake City at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Thank you for everything that you do for people like me. I'm taking pictures from various events and activities on the VA Hospital site where they are posted here. Some are related due to the nature of the event and the connection to veterans and Valor House as well as Freedom Landing. This Establishment has such an important goal. Provides important and very much needed assistance for our veterans that struggle with a variety of aspects in their daily lives. They served a tough role in ensuring the security of our country and our families. Now they have an opportunity to live here and find their way back home. This building's purpose is a transitional living. A place for these veterans to live and get the important assistance and resources so they get back on their feet and obtain permanent house and gain independent stability. The staff here are so friendly, all they strive to do is help anyone and everyone. This service would not exist without them. AMAZING work done by this establishment!

Very disappointed with some of my experiences with veteran tenants who fail to see that they are very blessed to have the benefits verses those who do not and have to live in places such as as the Road Home shelter. Certain male veteran tenants harassed female veterans, spending their time gossiping and keeping up discord. Very unprofessional security staff who could never work anywhere else. And last, the racist, red-neck homeless, mentally ill veterans who fail to understand that their condition has no color line. The place was just a place to lay my head, would never live there again, nor recommend it. There are individuals there who really should be locked up for what they are doing, and those who cover for them.
