I had an extremely disappointing experience at this U.S. Bank branch, specifically with a representative named Vanessa Allgood. I came in to cash a cashier’s check written to myself from another bank to avoid carrying excess cash. I was told by Ms. Allgood that my funds were clear—but she personally refused to authorize the withdrawal without providing a valid reason. After calling U.S. Bank’s main customer service, I was told there was no legitimate reason to withhold the funds. It turns out Ms. Allgood had flagged my account, claiming I was attempting fraud and that I was threatening her—neither of which was true.
