U.S. Bank Home Mortgage

Late tax payments, missed insurance payments, terrible customer service. Unfortunately we have had our mortgage with them for 5 years and have had issues with late/missing tax payments EVERY YEAR. I spoke with Lindsey Williams escrow specialist in the Cincinnati office (a supposed manager of the escrow department) she told me they just mail the checks, it’s our responsibility to make sure it’s handled correctly, not theirs (we are required to use them for escrow due to state laws so we can’t make a change) after their department didn’t pay our school taxes for the fifth year in a row. If you can get in touch with anyone - they tell you how it’s not their job or responsibility (specifically for not making our home owners insurance payment for an entire year when they had all the documents,

I have been dealing with an escrow issue for 6 months. The first year they didn't pay my taxes ,second year they didn't pay my insurance. Asked to cancel escrow and want to charge me a fee???? Then after I paid my insurance they paid it again after it should have been canceled?

It hurts to put a one star on a Bank that has (up until this point) treated me fairly. JASON GRISWOLD - Account Sales Rep, is unfortunately not good at his job - At serving the customer or the company. He was rude and passive aggressive in his reply to my email. I got what I wanted in the end (what he denied), but it shows his inability to do his job effectively.

We came over to have a check endorsed. Super friendly folks, prompt service. It looks like they used to have only one person on staff that could endorse, and now have a bunch. I previously read some of the vitriolic reviews, and while people have legitimate grievances against US Bank, these guys just do home mortgage stuff for them... so it's kind of weird to see people hate on them for banking services stuff that's unrelated to their office.

They are crooks. I have had two legal disputes with this company. They do not act in good faith. They do not follow the law. They utterly LOST the last time we went to war in the courts, but the headache of dealing with them is not worth it. Recently I have filed multiple complaints against US Bank for violation of the CARES Act. They blatantly violate it. Do not take a mortgage loan with them and if you can bank elsewhere I would HIGHLY recommend doing so. Just adding to this review, I contacted Fannie Mae. They agreed with me concerning US Bank and their failure to follow the CARES Act. The Fannie Mae representative has followed up with me a few times since and helped me further resolve ADDITIONAL disputes with US Bank. Finance with someone else if possible. They clearly do not properly
