Uptown Arms & Manor Apartments

Toured and loved the place. Wasn't able to end up moving and had to stay in Seattle, but management was easy to work with and the apartments were super cute!

Facility issues that need some fixing. Management company lacked honesty and customer service. -4 stars. Great location; it's within reasonable walking distance of the downtown area. +1 star. I lived in the Manor apartment for about 2 months in the Spring-Summer. I was in-between the end of a lease at another apartment and moving out of state (going month-to-month at the other apartment would have been unreasonably high). I chose this place because it had cheaper month-to-month rates than I was being offered at my other place. I work full time and I'm a very clean person. Pros: We rarely heard our neighbors through the walls. But it's possible we just had quiet neighbors. Cons: The "on-call" (weekend) apartment manager seems to have a disdain for doing her job. Building has been poorly maintained since the new owner took over in June 2012. General housekeeping of the laundry rooms, elevators and public area has become lax. Dust everywhere. MAJOR ANNOYANCE: Key cards have not worked in the back and side doors for over a year and the owner won't replace the key-card mechanism. Parking lot numbers and stripes are faded but the new owner won't repaint. However, he raised the rent considerably when he took over. We are now on the 4th resident manager since this man took over. Used to be a nice place to live, but there are problems now. Look elsewhere first. Rent as a last resort until the new owner learns how to manage a property.

Washer and Dryer regularly break, only two of each shared by the entire building. Poor insulation. Landlord creepily stares at residents when outside of building. Nobody should live here.

Longtime tenant that was told the Mold in my apartment was because I was unclean I was told to clean it. I have serious respiratory issues from the mold spores and skin irritations. I am just posting this to hope I can keep someone getting poisoned from the owners negligence . Contact me for questions 🙏
