We bought a home from upright builders and are overall happy with the location and lot. We liked the opportunity to purchase early enough to make some modifications. However, our walk through was quite unpleasant. The builder became very agitated because of the home inspection. As buyers, we should have the option to vociferate any concerns and we expect them answered in a calm and confident way, which was not the case unfortunately. We felt stuck in the middle of a very personalized argument in which we were berated for pointing out concerns from the inspection report. It feels as if we had previously worked with different people since the behavior turned crazy, inappropriate, and very standoffish at the end.
