Union Hill is such a hidden gem in KC! The apartments are beautiful—historic brick with a modern twist that makes the whole area feel like it has its own personality. The layouts and upkeep really show that it’s not just another copy-and-paste community, but something unique and cared for. The staff was just as impressive—super friendly, welcoming, and professional. You can tell they actually care about the community and the people in it, which makes all the difference. Pair that with the charm of the neighborhood and it’s honestly one of those places that stands out in the city.

Living at Union Hill on Main was an absolute nightmare. This place looks good online, but once they have your lease signed, the experience completely falls apart. Management is beyond incompetent. Emails go unanswered, voicemails are ignored, and when you finally get someone in the office, nothing actually gets resolved. Maintenance requests sit for weeks, and when they do show up, it’s rushed, half-done work that doesn’t fix the real problem. You’re left constantly following up just to get basic things handled. The building quality is terrible. The walls are paper thin — you hear full conversations, TVs, doors slamming, dogs barking, and hallway noise at all hours of the day and night. Sleep is a joke here. Cleanliness and upkeep are a serious issue. Elevators are frequently broken, tr

I've lived here for 2.5 years, and my experience living here has been pleasant and convenient. Easy access to streetcar and a few bus routes. They have an online system where residents can submit maintenance requests and pay their rents (or set up auto-pay), which is very convenient. The property responds to maintenance requests pretty quickly, and my rent has only risen by 3% each year, so not too bad. The property allows Amazon deliveries to be taken right to your door, or any other deliveries can get delivered to the office and kept in a secure room. The property is well taken care of (including in winters), and the area is pretty quiet, peaceful, and safe. They have discounts on local businesses and for the hotel across the street, which has come in handy for me when I've had out o

Union Hill on Main is the budget option for Union Hill, and provides very good value for what you pay. Apartments are reasonably spacious (starting at 600 square feet), and well-appointed with modern appliances (including in-unit washer/dryer), granite countertops, and wood-burning fireplaces in some units. Its proximity to the Union Hill streetcar stop provides quick access to both downtown and midtown without the need for a car. Management is generally quite responsive to maintenance requests, and amenities such as the fitness center, package room, and gift wrapping station around the holidays all prove very useful. The neighborhood offers many coffee shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. Preventing a five-star rating is some features of the amenities that have been rem

Great apartment complex !! I liked the bungalow style design. It’s very near to downtown. It was recommended to me by a colleague and I had a good overall experience. Maintenance was quick. Package concierge service was a nice thing as well. The Union Hill team were friendly and helpful. The Union Hill area felt safe and quiet. The gym was really good too. Some of the apartments were small (including mine) but the rent felt very reasonable as well, especially with its location. Gated parking was a good plus although sometimes the gate malfunctioned. The only issues I had were during terrible snowstorms when I once lost water supply due to pipe freezing and during blizzard, when it was not possible to park with all the spots covered by snow. These things were addressed by them but I would h
