Twin Creek Apartments

We didn’t end up renting at Twin Creek Apartments, I still wanted to take a minute to leave a review because our experience from start to finish was genuinely positive. Ill be honest we were concerned due to the previous reviews. The property manager was incredibly understanding and accommodating when we had to reschedule our tour a few times due to unexpected conflicts on my end. Her communication was clear, professional, and friendly throughout the process. The level of customer service we received really stood out and made a great impression. If this is how they treat potential residents, I can only imagine the care they give to current tenants. I had a very terrible experience with the property manager Kristen and management company Cornerstone Residential in 2021; I would not rent for accommodations from this company again and caution others from doing so if somewhere else is available. Their maintenance crew cut a sprinkler line outside the 455sq. ft 1 bedroom layout I was in the process of moving into. Manager said they made a mistake, and their solution was leaving an industrial fan running for a couple days with the door OPEN while I lived there....and they also refused to hold the furniture being delivered that week, just put it all in the wet apartment with the door open she said. I wanted to share my honest opinion about this apartment complex. I wasn't paid to say this or anything. First they are a smaller complex but well kept. The grounds are clean, there is a nice laundry room, they have a small fitness room upstairs next to the office, and the mailboxes are easily accessible. It is pet friendly which is a huge bonus. My apartment is a smaller unit but it is cozy plus was very nice when I moved in. They actually renovated everything which was amazing. It doesn't have central heating or air but does have a wall unit similar to one you find in a hotel. And that thing is amazing. It keeps the apartment perfectly hot and cold. The neighbours are chill too. Kylie the manager, I believe her name, is very nice. I moved here from outta state and she made it a breeze. E

I initially rented here because I had no other options and at this point I would have rather gone homeless , if you're thinking about renting from here don't , frankly being homeless is less trouble.

~EDIT~ I moved out August 18, 2023, and it is now December and I have not received my deposit back. I’ve literally lost track of how many times I’ve called and gotten an answer saying they’d get on it. The last time I called, they told me that my deposit had been sent out 30 days ago to their apartment that I had already moved out of because they “didn’t have a forwarding address” when I gave them a forwarding address both in my intent to vacate (2 months before August) AND in a more recent email communication after I had finally received the deposit amount I was supposed to get back. After you’re not a tenant anymore these guys do NOT seem to care about you anymore, and I have had to take all the initiative in getting back any of my money. ******** These guys are seriously awesome.
