My husband and I rented a house from triple s and if we hadn't moved out of the area, we would have rented from them again. Anytime we had a maintenance issue, it was resolved in an appropriate amount of time. Anytime we had a question for the office, they always were polite and informative. Honestly, this is a great company to rent from if you don't mind simple things like paying your rent on time and following the terms of your lease. The complaints I see in the negative reviews are honestly shocking. I assume you have to be an adult to even sign a lease, so I can also assume an adult knows how to read the legally binding agreement they signed. I understand that life sometimes happens, but triple s is a business. They can't go making exceptions for everybody that go against the terms of
Absolute worst rental experience that I have ever had. I rented a property for 2 years from this company immediately after separating from the Army and moving back to my hometown of Springfield. In the six years I spent with the military, I moved at least 5 different times between 3 different duty stations and always had a rental positive history. Our first lease with Triple S was "ok" primarily because they never talked to us and we didn't need anything. Except the first month, our lease started 9/30/2016 so we paid the prorated amount for September, Octobers rent, and the Security and pet deposits. Then tried to collect Octobers rent from us again right when we were moving in. My wife and I were not yet ready to buy a home yet so we renewed for another year. Second Issue: I get a cal
This company is absolutely terrible. They are very hard to work with, and that's if you can even get anyone to call you back. I lived in an apartment owned by this company and was miserable the whole time. They also require a 60 day notice before you move out and if they do not receive it, they automatically renew your lease which is not that bad, but they will NOT contact you before they renew your contract and let you know their stipulations. One month they lost my money order for rent (which takes forever to get a new one if it is lost) and even though THEY misplaced it they charged me late rent fees for the few weeks it took me to get a new one. Also, when I moved out I called and shut my utilities off the day we moved out and they are charging me for 5 days of utilities for when I DID
I'll start with the positive: we rented a house in Battlefield for about a year. At the beginning of our lease I had just gotten a promotion that came with an odd pay schedule and they worked with me on that pretty well. They were also very responsive to the one or two maintenance related issues we had. Ending the lease was anything but positive. To get into the home we had to put down a deposit (same as a month's rent), first month's rent, and a $400 pet deposit. Also had to pay an extra $50 a month for our two dogs. We were told from the get go the pet fees were not refundable which was fine with us because they said that the $1000 we would put in throughout the lease would cover anything the pets may cause. We were also told that they held $100 of the regular deposit no matter what for
Absolutely HORRIBLE company. We have rented from many places over the years due to my husband’s job relocating us. They have treated us like we would be horrible renters from the beginning, the house we moved into was filthy, we have ants and fly’s no matter what I do to correct them. They will raise your rent by 10% each year you RENEW your contract with them. The property company can not get their stories straight to give you an answer on anything. When I asked to speak to the owner he declined to talk saying that’s what his staff is for. Apparently he can not keep staff long enough because everyone gets fired or quits within months. We have unfortunately rented with them for 2 years and the office staff has changed multiple times. Steer clear of this company. They are a joke and VERY un
