Traver Crossing Apartments

I have lived at this complex for a year and a half, and I have ultimately decided to break my lease due to ongoing safety concerns and what I felt was a lack of response from management. In November, my car was stripped of its tires overnight and left sitting on bricks in the parking lot here at Traver Crossing. Within the last year, my roommate and I have also experienced multiple package thefts, and our storage locker has been broken into several times. Between the stolen items and damages, we estimate that we have lost $5,000 worth of property during our time here. After my tires were stolen, we reached out to management and requested them to address these repeated thefts of property. I usually do not write review. We’ve stayed in this apartment complex for over 2 years now. Things are getting worse and worse. When we first moved here, the leasing office opens daily, and the community was quite quiet and peaceful. In the past year or so, however, things start to deteriorate drastically. We had broken front doors, unfixed lights at multiple locations including the mailbox, and stolen packages. The fact that packages being stolen dozens of times each month is beyond “oh it’s just an accident, you should be more aware” type of thing that management told us. Now guess what? We also have stripped tires from cars. Not 1, not 2, but 4 cars in recent weeks. This type of easily avoidable crimes kept happening in our neighborhood and among other McKinley’s properties. Moved out in July due to graduation. Overall it was a pretty pleasant stay; this is a pet friendly apartment, very spacious and with a lot of storage space. The scenery and hiking paths are unbeatable in the spring. Pros: - on 23, for college student without a car this makes shopping and going to central/North campus much easier. - BIG apartment. I mean BIG. Very, very big. Lots of storage space for anything you want to keep. - pet friendly. I see a lot of furry friends around! - beautiful community. See pics attached. Our time here was good until recently. Multiple packages stolen, cars’ tires got stripped. THE MANAGEMENT DO NOT ACT AT ALL. Don’t live here if you want your property to be intact.

Completely negligent management who do not care for the safety and wellbeing of their residents. 4+ vehicles seen on bricks in the parking lot due to tire theft, stolen packages, broken doors, storage lockers burglarized multiple times and no action taken.
