Building our home with Traditions proved to be a disappointing and continues to be a frustrating experience. While our initial interaction with the sales representative was excellent, the quality and professionalism declined significantly once construction began. Throughout the building process, we encountered numerous errors that reflected poor attention to detail. The entire interior was painted incorrect colors due to avoidable mistakes, and the interior design/selections team failed to provide accurate measurements for our planned fireplace - resulting in the loss of the fireplace mantle altogether. The initial build process for our Wyoming home was fine, although communication could have been better. We have now lived in our home for only 2.5 years and significant issues are cropping up (of course outside of the warranty period) that have us questioning the quality of the construction. Our back door shifted in its framing leading to a leak that caused water damage as well as mold that required remediation and replacement of flooring, sub flooring, and the door itself. Two separate HVAC companies told us that our system was undersized compared to the square footage of the house, which is consistent with our experience of the upstairs having essentially no temperature regulation. My husband and I were pleased with our experience with Traditions Building & Development. The building process was well explained and closing was right on schedule.
