Topaz Cay Apartment Homes

I’m not a reviewer type of person. But in this case I feel like I had to chime in on behalf of the new manager at Topaz Cay. It’s like a night and day difference. It felt like the previous management was looser about who could rent apartments. New management here has made a huge difference. It’s just a better in every way. The grounds are nice, the pool is clean, people are nice and friendly. Mostly, it feels very safe here. For the price and location i feel like it’s a good deal.

Nice apartments with upgraded appliances and interior finishes. Very pleased with my two bedroom floorplan near the pool. Plenty of parking near my apartment. The fitness center is available 24/7 which is nice for my schedule.

2nd UPDATE: While the maintenance has remained fantastic, this place is filled with people who don't clean up after their dogs and nothing done about it. I reported it to management, yet see it still happening all over the place. Seeing constant drug deals in happening in the apartment complex. This is becoming the ghetto of Melbourne. UPDATE: This place has new management and since it has been soo much better. Maintenance requests are dealt with promptly and they advise what was done to fix a problem. It’s a nice change from prior management. DO NOT RENT HERE. If I could leave a negative star I would. Been here about two years. Rent went from $940 to $1290 upon last renewal, now going up to over $1500 for a 1/1. “Renovations” have been taking place since February 2023, and still have yet to be completed. My apartment has looked horrible ever since the hack job of renovations started, only to never be finished. Supposed to have a dishwasher and new blinds, and keep getting excuses as to why almost a year later nothing in my unit is finished. Meanwhile, watching other units get completed and have all the upgrades that all tenants are to have. First it was because they were “understaffed,” then it turned into somehow EVERYTHING being “backordered.” Pest control never comes, and maintenance requests go as long as a month with no action. This place is a dump management does not care. The children run wrapped around here unsupervised, tearing up all The amenities in the park and also harass neighbors yet management does nothing about it nor did they do anything about the work orders. They just mark them off as complete. This place is a disaster. The dumpsters are overflowing down below pictures of what you could see at this place.
