We are determined to buy a home in Ivy; however, the inventory is so small that every time we find a house we like, it sells. Our favs were Spring Hill, West Leigh, and Rosemont. Toby was extremely informed about Ivy real estate (especially since he lives here).
Toby drove me around Central Virginia for 3 days, looking at Charlottesville country homes. I finally decided to buy 185 Broomfield Lane in Esmont, VA. Charlottesville farms were just too expensive for me at this time.
There is something about living in Keswick that has always excited me. And Toby reaffirmed my excitement by taking me around to all the prettiest areas. Then took me to Merrie Mill Vineyards for a glass of wine. Great tour.
Mr Beavers gave us a terrific tour of Charlottesville, and we went by a couple for-sale homes. He is familiar with the area, but we have not made a firm decision to relocate.
Toby was prepared and ready for our trip to Charlottesville. The homes we loved were out of our budget and we plan to return in August.
