I live in Oregon Illinois in what is suppose to be disabled and elderly building. I am disabled and have been fighting with the property management since I moved in here to get issues resolved. Its stated in the lease that landlord is responsible for working heating and air conditioning. It took over a year to get 2 thermostats replaced so I had properly working heating and my AC has not worked right since I moved in. It runs good for a little while then starts blowing hot air. Early this year I had a problem where the tile shower surround fell in the wall. I told them when I first moved in that there was grout missing between some of the tiles but yet they didn't even take a look at it till about 9 months after they were told. This review is exclusively the rating of the property manager currently at Chuckatuck village. She is a conniving liar and will make it her mission to set you up if she does not like you to have you evicted. Willfully forgets conversations, starts rumors with neighbors of those she doesn't like, and will always making up "new policies" without proof there of but you are expected to simply shut up and go along with it or be removed. Requests for the regional manager goes always go unanswered and so there is never justified resolution. None of the residents I've come across trust her and it's with good reason, she's deceitful. She needs to be fired for the reputation sake of this place. She is very much a tar stain on the brand.

I give my Senior apartment 5 stars but the management only a 2, and that's being generous. The Apartments are new and quite nice and roomy, The grounds around the building are kept up and well maintained. However, the Common room is kept locked and seems to have no use at all in spite of their advertising it as a perk , the so called "walking trails" lead to nowhere. There is a small fitness room that is kept clean and the building itself is safe, warm and kept very clean although you can hear the doors slamming at all hours. There is something not right about how the property manager handles things... I've lived here for nearly 2 months and I am made to sign post dated paperwork dating back to the day I signed my lease which isn't legal. And speaking of my lease, the one I received is not

This review can’t really talk about the property, however, I’ve called several times and the same rude woman answers, then puts me on hold mid sentence. She asks for the property name and when I attempt to give it she tells me to just look on the website. I explained I did this but had additional questions so she asked for the property name. While attempting to give it, she disconnects the call. What happened to good customer service? If the person answering the phones is this incompetent/rude I’d imagine the rest of the staff running this place are as well. I’d give zero stars if I could!

THERE IS EMBEZZLEMENT GOING ON AND I WOULD LOVE MY PROPERTY BACK THAT THEY REMOVED FROM MY APARTMENT WHILE I WAS IN TRANSITION TO MY NEW HOME(Jersey Park Apartment) I also made several complaints to HUD which they called me about a report about rent but not about not having a proper closet door for my son, bed bugs, black mold, windows not being sealed, no borders, leaks and rust in my tub that I couldn’t place my kids in. AND NO I DIDNT ABANDON MY ITEMS. She GAVE ME A DATE and I have my paperwork which she claim to not have. Which I also did not get a chance to turn in my key. It’s sad that I have to make a review to receive a update on my items and she also have the list. Things were not abandoned and had a agreement with the property manager. Came back to my items gone.
