TJ's Log & Timber

We are building a family legacy lodge for future generations to come and enjoy Grand Lake. We've tweaked and tweaked the floor plans to make it just right for the family. I must say, from design to quality of craftsmanship it's been a dream to work with TJ's Log & Timber. Seriously, from the fellas in the saw mill, to the guys building and stacking, these are some of the hardest working, kindest men I've ever met. I highly recommend you just go visit the shop in Bailey, Colorado. Between the short seasons and rocky soil, building in Grand Lake is complicated. TJ's has been with us through all the challenges with the kind of "can do" attitude and "solutions orentation" that is producing an amazing outcome.

After being abandoned by a less-than-reputable contractor, I turned to TJ’s Log & Timber for help repairing the log railings at my property. From the moment I reached out, I was treated like family. I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Katie Rust, and she made the entire process easy. Katie helped me put together a materials order that fit my needs perfectly and connected me with one of their expert installers. Thanks to her, the job was done right—and done well. TJ's Log and Timber is amazing!!! They hand-made custom wood "pegs" for our coffee and end table after our lab puppies (about a year old) chewed the others to pieces. TJ's also created a beautiful wooden side panel for our outside deck and the construction was solid. It needed to be because our deck is in the mountains at not only subject to high elevation (9,000 feet) but also extreme winter / weather conditions. TJ's are true craftsmen and the quality of thier work speaks for itself. We also love the value for the price. We highly recommend TJ's Log and Timber!

I own a log home in Summit County, CO. Years, and years ago, they crafted all the railings when we built the cabin. They were perfect. Years later, we built an Adobe home and in need of railings for a back portal, I checked. TJ's Lumber was still in business! Indeed, they crafted the new railings to our absolute perfect requirements. They, again, were so attractive. Fast forward 25 years later to 2025. The old railings deteriorated having been infected by an odd fungus. OMG. Tj's was still in business, crafted the exact railings once again, and at a reasonable price. They are a delight to work with, treat you as if you were family and deliver on time. What a gift in this day and age. I gave them a 5. Quadruple that. They are so good!

this is the3rd time I have bought from TJLog and timber each time the quality of the wood has always been good quality at a fair deal. there is no other place in and around the metro area.ask for what you want not be told we only have one size. thank mike Fulcomer
