Our relationship and experience with Timberline Construction and Christian Edwards requires some explanation. In 2005 my wife Cindy and I bought a twenty acres parcel in Juniper Hill above Glenshire just east of Truckee with the intention of building a log home. After my retirement we moved to Truckee in 2015 and began the process of securing a log home builder. Unfortunately that contractor was both unscrupulous and ill-informed about construction practices in Truckee, resulting in a year of lost time and over $10,000 in squandered funds. Our experience with Timberline was the complete opposite. Christian is a consummate builder. He knows the business thoroughly and has the best crew of workers. In fact, during the course of the build there were only 4 days where someone was not working.

I am a residential architect with over 35 years of experience. My husband and I hired Christian to build our Tahoe Donner home. It was the BEST construction experience of my entire career! Christian was responsive to any and all issues. Other than 25' of snow during construction, I could not have asked for a less stressful and more pleasant experience. We love our home and Christian was a pleasure to work with. I strongly recommend Timberline!

Christian Edwards, of Timberline Construction, built our house that is in the Northstar Resort in Tahoe. The house was completed in the winter of 2016. We absolutely love the house. He did a beautiful job. Christian was easy to work with and moved the project along at a great pace. He always provided plenty of lead time in the decisions that needed to be made so that the project was never waiting on us. He kept us fully informed about the pace of the project. All of his subcontractors were of great quality and they were all friendly. I would definitely choose to use Christian again.
