I’ve been debating on whether or not to write this review for years knowing nothing would come of it because at the end the day the company doesn’t care. Three years ago we built a home in Stockdale Texas, and the process started off easy enough and I might dare to say almost fun. The design staff were knowledgeable and attentive and everything was great right up until the actual construction. At multiple points in our build we had a third party inspector come in and give an honest non-bias inspection report as this was to be our forever home. During the framing process there are large gaps between the sheathing on the roof, large gaps at multiple joints in the frame. After owning our Tilson Home for 1.5 years now, I have no regrets. This builder has went to great lengths to make sure we were happy with our build. You have a builder that is like your 24-7 help during the process and they are truly amazing. In our case we had Summer and she was fanomimal! Hayden was our help in the design phase. He did awsome for us and we were his first customer! Tilson wasn't only cost effective they have stood by our side after the build. It's like being a member of the family. I can't say enough other than rest easy and enjoy the build! They are there for you!

Purchased a home with Tilson and closed in 2024. They do not stand behind their warranty and will leave you stuck with repair bills for poor workmanship by their trade contractors. They definitely hire the lowest bidders to perform the trade work in the home. Their 3rd party inspection program is a joke, they will not catch critical mistakes. I highly recommend getting your own inspector to monitor the build if going with Tilson. I am already out money in electrical repairs due to ongoing electrical issues that Tilson would not honor warranty repairs for. The latest was a wire that was stapled through causing a short between the hot wire and ground. I lost all my living room, dining room, front porch, entry lighting, spot lights on that short.
