Tilson Homes

I am not normally the kind of person to ever leave a bad review on Google. This is the only Google review I have ever posted, but my experience has just been that bad. Tilson has been constructing a house next to my home. For the past three days, the have been laying the foundation starting at 5am in the morning. They were done in the morning by 10 am. On one of the 3 days, they brought in oil rigg lighting at 2:45 in the morning, keeping the neighborhood awake. After calling Tilson Homes, the employee who answered said that this was a common business practice of theirs. Our subdivision has bylaws preventing construction before 7am, and they have still proceeded with this. If anyone is building a house, please have mercy on your neighbors and use someplace besides Tilson. To address conc

We really like our Tilson home and highly recommend them as a home builder. We’ve waited to write this review until now, our 1 year anniversary in the home, but can now say, without reservation, that Tilson builds a quality home. While there are a few minor things we would change, there is nothing that makes us not appreciate the workmanship. I believe, if I do my part, this home will last well beyond the life of a similarly built home. We did customize our home extensively, and enjoy those features we added. We were extremely pleased with our experience with Tilson, and even more importantly, with the finished product. We have built previously with other builders in other locations and two things about Tilson really surprised us. First is that we were able to do a great deal of customization to the home, to both the internal floorplan as well as to the exterior design, which is what ultimately made us decide on Tilson. The second thing that surprised us was the very high quality of workmanship that went into the home. Overall, our experience was great and we have recommended Tilson to others.

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The only thing that held up our process was the weather. We absolutely love our home. Our builder and salesmen were both always available when i had 1 million questions or concerns. They were always considerate and respectful no matter what the situation was. I would recommend Tilson to anyone looking to build a home with little to no stress.

I would recommend Tilson over most local homebuilders or cookie cutter builders. They built our forever home and we love it. They were super nice, informative and helpful from the get go. From when we first met our sales consultant to our superintendent and everyone in between. They were all great. After we signed for our home, we had a few issues with paint that was not properly cured or dried. We had a service person come out and underestimated the repair time and was here most of the day. She finally told us she would have to reschedule a second visit to finish up the rest. This was on May 11th and it is now June 24th and still haven't heard from them.
