Once beautifully forested land was replaced by miles of grotesque concrete and glass. Like every other company currently developing our community, the Yield’s developers clear-cut every inch of this natural space, destroying this land and its inhabitants up to the roadway. This company could have been celebrated for developing the site with environmental impact in mind, but instead they chose the most devastating route to land development. They left no tree-line buffer to hide the concrete eyesore. They left no space to which surviving wildlife could flee.
