The Willows

We have just moved in and it seems like the kind of neighborhood that keeps to themselves(not always a bad thing). The best thing so far has been the amazing miss Bethany Graves, she has been very kind, and knowledgeable. She made us feel like we would be very comfortable here!

I wouldn’t wish a year at these apartments on anyone....except the property owner(s). My experience here was defined by neglect, mismanagement, and complete disregard for tenant wellbeing. It became crystal clear that the owners—who I was told are out-of-state investors—are far more interested in squeezing money out of tenants than maintaining a livable property. When I moved in, both sinks were leaking and the garbage disposal was broken. It took two full months and multiple requests before anything was fixed. Two months of no functional kitchen sink. That pretty much set the tone for the year. Getting ahold of management was a nightmare. They rotated between three phone numbers and unreliable office hours. My husband and I have lived at The Willow's a long long time ago. The office staff was so very nice. It was a couple Gary and Norma. She did the office part and he was the maintenance guy. I went and visited with the wife when office open. Our maintenance was alway's taken care of!! It was a nice and interesting place inside with stairs. Had a pool. There was a laundry facility. It was a real-good place too do our laundry and on site!! Good parking. Nice outside with all the tree's around!! We left but came back. Gary was just in the office. His wife had passed away. Lived in small one bedroom. Neighbor nice on one side and then became unbearable to live by. He was angry and already had issues with Gary and other's whom lived there. Other neighbor's so very nice nice!! This guy did damage

I recently got approved for a studio apartment at The Willows for a monthly rent of $999. However, after being approved and asked to pay a holding fee of $200, I receive a call from Avenue5, the property management team in charge of The Willows. They told me “great news! We’re renovating your apartment, which means you’ll get new appliances, however, we’re going to have to increase your rent to $1075 per month.” A classic bait and switch operation. If I didn’t have a lawyer in my family, I might have said yes. But charging someone 227 dollars to then tell them that they’ll be paying more than originally agreed upon is outrageous and potentially illegal. Do not live at The Willows. They’ll sell you a destroyed apartment that they’ll charge YOU to fix.

Absolute garbage. -10/10. Worst staff there is to EVER work for a company. Air conditioner was broken for 3 months and heater was broken all winter long. Took multiple phone calls to corporate and threatening non payment of rent to finally get a phone call back. After we move out of that slum lord apartment village we receive a bill for “carpet cleaning” and other services… they ripped the carpet out but still charged us a cleaning fee. I would definitely spend your money elsewhere. These people are crooks and slum lords at their best.
