The Willows at Landisville

We've been living here since April 2018. We love it! There's tons of natural light. Management has gotten much better since the place opened. The apartments are gorgeous. You don’t really hear your neighbors next to you, but obviously you can hear your upstairs neighbors walking around. I wish they'd invest in regular cleaning for the hallways. Share space should be management responsibility, not tenants. The water is hard, but the rest of the apartment functions perfectly. Cats and small dogs allowed.

Things have declined majorly in the complex. I’ve been here since this building was newly built. Besides cosmetic issues with painting(or lack there of), cracking of foundation, etc. there is no maintenance currently so be prepared to do all handy work yourself. They do not respond to disrespectful tenants or make them adhere to the rules. They do not respond to emails for maintenance needs etc. Literally purchased my own toilet seat and installed it today.. 🙄

If you call they will ask you for your income, normally when this is done it’s to make sure you can actually afford the apartment. This place however for a one bedroom automatically denied me because I made too much 13-15$ range. They base it off the gross amount you make in a year not net, and adjust the rent. I asked about a 2 bedroom they calculated it out and said $1200. Literally basing your rent off of your pay I can’t even afford $800 a month why would I pay $1200. You almost have to make $8-$10 to live in a one bedroom to get the “affordability apartment”

I absolutely love living at the Willows of Landisville!! The manager is very nice and gets things done for you!! The maintenance is also very nice and comes as soon as possible for any problem👌 The appliances are brand new and work very well! The only down fall is if you live in the building because you have to deal with the mess your neighbors leave behind on the stairs in the hallway 😡 if everyone would take part in the cleaning id have absolutely no problem at all here maybe things will change 😘😘

False advertising.... they say it's based on low income but how is 1200 for a two bedroom low income? They need to advertise low income starting wage of 10 dollars per hour. Then based on your gross amount, umm...hello thats not what we bring home. Thats the point of a net, you know, the take home money...ugh
