The Watermark

I want to make others aware of my experience living at Watermark Luxury Apartments so prospective residents can make an informed decision. I will start off by saying 6 weeks ago, approximately 1/15/26 the front door of the building was littered with nonpayment of rent from a bank. The building is being sold as the current owner seems to be broke and/or in bankruptcy. The property is advertised as a smart-home luxury community, but in my experience the smart-home features have been unreliable. The keyless entry system frequently does not work properly, and the garage entry gate has repeatedly been broken, which raises both convenience and security concerns. Not the Luxury Living Experience Advertised I moved into The Watermark expecting luxury living, but my experience has been extremely disappointing due to ongoing maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and management issues. At move-in, the apartment was not properly cleaned (paint/debris stuck to floors, dirty windows). The “Smart Home” and keyless entry system does not work as advertised, and the app is unreliable. I was even trapped in an elevator when the app failed, and the emergency phone gave an automated message stating dispatch was unavailable, which is a serious safety concern. Other ongoing unit issues include lukewarm/cold shower water, sewage smells in the morning, water leaking into my bedroom during rain, faulty thermostat problems, bathroom outlets that trip with standard appl

It's interesting that the "owner" has replied to every "good" review but not Amber Benton's review stating facts! I have had all the same issues that she mentioned! Spoke with a female in the office that claimed to be "management" and she stated that she was the ONLY staff on site and skirted every issue I brought to her attention. No maintenance available until further notice! No hot water! No answers!

Just had an amazing tour at The watermark in old Henderson, the property was absolutely beautiful, I did my tour with leasing agent Mercedes she was an absolute doll, very friendly, knowledgeable and tailored my tour for exactly what I was looking for, I was interested in one of their live work units, they are absolutely beautiful, extremely spacious large windows with amazing views. the property is extremely clean and well maintained, a lot of parking, roof top pool, fitness center, business center, yoga studio and so much more. The location is right across from the hockey center, lots of restaurants and bars you can literally walk out of the building an they are all right there, my tour was amazing and I will definitely be leasing at the watermark, if you are looking for an amazing pla
