The Villas at Kirkwood

I lived here for 2 years and had a unit right next to the stair well. It was alright, it has in unit washer and dryer which was a selling point. But the kitchen is small the rooms are small and there is no true closet. Along with that being next to the stair well I would wake up to people running up and down at random hours. Along with that there were many dogs off leash when you said you enforced leash’s (even the apartment managers dog). There was one dog that would pee at the entrance of the stairs all the time. The hallways always smelled like weed. (One of the maintenance people also smokes weed, and lived right above me.)they also have fire alarm issues all the time, which was annoying hearing all weekend. They would never mow on a regular basis so the grass was always to long. And

Great experience living here. Management was easy to work with. Definitely recommend to anyone attending Kirkwood!

I have lived here for 3 years coming from Village East at Kirkwood. The environment here is completely different in the BEST way possible. I have never had any problems here at the Villas. The walls are thick so you do not hear neighbors unless someone is above you, you might hear footsteps, but that’s about it. It is a very nice and quiet place to live. Michelle is the most amazing person! She is always willing to help tenants and has a positive attitude. All maintenance workers are very nice as well! I will honestly miss living here!

Black mold in the vents. An abnormal amount of bugs and spiders. I suffered a serious spider bite while living here. Also, don’t move here if you want peace and quiet or if you want management to be responsive in an emergency!

Has been awhile since I lived here and didn't last long due to personal issues not related to the apartment. but was a decent place for the price. Was pressed for time when moving out in a day so unfortunately wasn't as clean as I would've like to left it despite that cleaning fee was still understandable and fair unlike a lot of places that will charge almost or more than a months rent. Appreciated the in unit laundry. Only thing was the walls, not as bad as other places I have been either. But have heard music occasionally from neighbors.
