The Village At Horsepen

The area is great, but unfortunately the way they build capital to remodel their apartments is by making false claims about damages when tenants move out. They almost never return security deposits and often charge extra on top to “upgrade” the units. They replace the carpet in every unit before a new tenant moves in and charge the previous tenant for it — a common trick in the industry, but they take full advantage of it. They also claim the units are non-smoking, yet mine reeked of Marlboro Reds throughout the entire place.

The maintenance staff is unbelievably quick to respond to any needs, and they will always respect your privacy if you need something fixed while you’re not at home. Odie in particular is always so polite, lets me observe (because I like to learn how to do some of the tasks if I can), friendly, and is quite funny. I don’t feel awkward having someone in my home because they are wonderful and always will double check if I need anything else before leaving. I’ve never had someone show up and be terse or impolite, and the problems always get fixed!

This is for the maintenance crew and who ever made them cookies for Valentines Day sweet event. John is the goat for helping me get my car out the snow after work. And I don't know if this his real name But Uncle Earl is my buddy and he educates whatever he is doing.

I'm excited to move-in in this community. I'm thankful with all the staff, they are all accommodating especially Ms. Rashiya, she helped me alot during my application. She answered all my queries and during our tour she was able to show us the available and model units. She explained everything clearly. I had a great time with them.

Very professional and caring folks in the leasing office as well as the maintenance crew! They take care of work needed in your unit so quick and easy! Took less than a day for them to repair the dryer in our unit. 10/10
