The Village at Auburn Apartments

I have lived at The Village at Auburn for nearly 5 years, and it has really worsened over this time. The front office staff is pretty unhelpful, and the management has a lot of turnover and gaps. They are not responsive to concerns that residents share. Once you sign a lease with them they no longer care about you or your living experience, but rather you are merely a source of money for them. Over the last year, here are just a few problems we have had: 1) Safety. There are currently various cars being broken into over night. The office has said that they have no plans to do anything about this such as adding security cameras or asking local police to patrol the area more regularly. 2) The pool has frequently been closed (we're talking 6 or 8 weeks at a time) over the summer for several

We moved in a few weeks ago and Donnie the head of maintenance has been so helpful and fixed everything i have asked! He is very professional and respectful of our home. He has made the apartment feel more like home and we couldn't ask for a better maintenance team! We are overall very happy with our move here!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. 1. ROACHES - there is a roach infestation in this apartment complex that is not taken seriously. When you put in a complaint, the leasing office is unresponsive for days. It takes even longer to get a pest control specialist to your unit. Keep in mind, we are charged a pest control fee every month. When the specialist came, they would spray two corners and leave. When I would express that I believe this is rooted in a bigger issue, I would be ignored. There were months when I saw a roach a week, and when I first moved in, I saw one a day. Absolutely disgusting and an inappropriate response from the office. 2. HIDDEN/CRAZY FEES - In the middle of our lease term, the complex began charging a $75 trash fee on top of a valet trash fee (mind you, according to state law, you c

I have been in my complex for four years going on five. I always feel welcomed by the entire community When I bring up a concern or issue to their attention, I feel that it’s addressed in a very timely manner, next steps are addressed without my asking and feedback is requested to see if the solution meets my standards. Very glad that I live here. I feel very safe, heard and respected
