The Verona at Oakland Mills

Very nice apartments but the parking is GOD AWFUL here and they will tow you for parking on the fire lane or next to a curb, I pay 1490 a month to live here and there’s 3 or 4 people living in a one bedroom apartment and they all have cars and who ARE NOT supposed to be parking here. They enforce when they want to and I feel is if this is a setup sometimes, change the parking policy and make give everyone 2 parking spots or make them have parking passes. This has been an ongoing issue with me and my wife ever since we moved in and her car was towed this morning I’m not happy, I want this issue corrected:

Staff in the front is rude and unprofessional, I spoke with Tianna today and couldn’t even get a sentence in without her cutting me off and getting smart. Mind you this is the first time I’ve ever spoken to this young lady in the 3 years so I’m not sure where her animosity is coming from. They also dropped the ball and didn’t charge water bills for over 6 months and never made any announcements about it until a week before they were going to start charging it on everyone’s rent in 3 month increments. Deonte was the best when he was in the front office, I never had any issues when speaking with him. But having the attitude that Tianna had today when a concerned resident reached out is not what anyone should have to deal with. Just don’t live here, it’s a whole joke.

Every time that I ask for information the leasing agent Alejandra is always ready to help me and my family, and also one of the manager I believe his name is Gerald he help us out so many time too I can’t wait to move to a nice community like Verona

One star is being rather generous. I have had the opportunity of living here for 2 years. I can honestly say there are better places to spend your money for a place to stay. As a potential resident it is in your best interest to stay far away from this complex. As a current resident I have brought multiple issues to the leasing staff and management team’s attention with no resolution. To make matters worse if you are still not happy with the property manager Ms. Toni Green, they are also the regional manager. Spoiler alert the property manager and the regional manager are the same person who don’t address issues. Then there’s her boss Mr Christopher Houlding who is supposed to be next in line with in the chain of command and who I never got a phone call back from. I guess my money isn’t wo

I recently renewed my lease with the Verona and I love it here! My experience with staff has been great! I love my apartment. Staffing has always been very helpful through whatever issues or concerns I have had and the maintenance guys are great as well and always respond in a timely fashion. Update: I have been living at Verona for 4 years now. I have enjoyed my time and staffing has always been great in addressing my needs. Maintenance continues to respond in a timely fashion and the office staff are always so friendly.
