The Tala at Washington Hill

Tala Where do I start! If it wasn’t for the proximity to the hospitals I wouldn’t have rented here. Let me start off by saying I was paying short term rental fees for almost a year because I do contact work and I was not sure if it would be renewed. Then when I found out that they couldn’t renew my contract we let Tala know. Only to find out you need 60 days notice to move out, even when you have paid the higher premium for short term leasing. So, right now I am paying over $2500 for 2 months of not living in the apartment. Then for the price of what I’m paying, I feel liked gym needs to be updated. The homeless people started camping out by the stores attached to the building. The only good part of the building are the front desk personnels and the leasing agent Lacey. Lacey is amazing!

Front office folks are great! Especially Daniel O., very knowledgeable and kind. The Tala is in a great area, super close to the hospital, just a short walk to Patterson Park, and really good Argentinian steak house around the corner. The only down side, but seems like it wont be an issue in the near future is the construction happening on the east side. A elementary/middle school got torn down and they're rebuilding it.

Love The Tala’s staff, from management down to concierge personnel, they’ve been extremely helpful and attentive during my entire moving process. since moving my experience with the area and building has been great! Love that it’s walking distance from Patterson park and so close to downtown Baltimore , I can't wait to get out this summer and explore more of my new neighborhood

I’ve been living here for a month now. So far it is the best apartment near johns hopkins hospital. Leasing office and concierge staffs are super friendly and quickly responds if there is any problems. I sincerely thank lacey, leasing agent who helped me throughout the smooth rent process. Gym and amenities are super neat and clean! Safety was the upmost important thing for me when choosing apartment and there is hopkins security right across the street. Also concierge is 24hours available so there is no need to worry about package or any deliveries being stolen. I might be living here for a long time until I leave hopkins someday!

I’ve been living at the Tala for about 3 years and couldn’t recommend it enough! The front desk staff is fantastic and communicative with residents. The maintenance staff is top notch and keep the building in amazing shape. Getting food delivered is very convenient!! Compared to the other apartments around the area, this is by far the best!!!!!!!!
