The Strand Apartments

We just moved to Florida and wanted to rent for a year before we purchased a house. Taylor at The Strand is amazing and made our apartment leasing process so easy. She went above and beyond, helping make our move to The Strand so smoothly.

Don’t feel safe. Kids smoking weed and terrorizing my kids in the stairwell and they won’t put up cameras. Leasing office and local employees are great to work with, but feels like their hands are tied in getting things safe and fixed around here. Only 2 stars because of the staff. The apartments, amenities, and atmosphere are not ideal. (Updated response: The Strand has done nothing in 6 months to ensure the safety of their tenants. We have requested multiple times that cameras be placed in the stairwell that is a frequent gathering place for drugs and alcohol, and all they have put up is a poster inviting residents to call the cops. The “private property” stairwells of the Strand often reek of marijuana and urine. My wife and sons do not feel safe in these apartments and the only reaso

I can’t say enough about this place, but if you don’t want to read the entire review, just know that they get an A+ in every aspect (communication, resident activities, luxury living/amenities, location, environment, cleanliness, safety, convenience, maintenance, etc) and I can’t come up with anything negative to say about my experience. This is not basic apartment living. I have lived at many other rental properties and The Strand stands above the rest. My husband and I have spent the past two years care free and stress free living here because of the phenomenal work that the team does here. Amazing amenities, beautiful apartments. We love it here. Update, one year later, we renewed our lease. The apartments are still beautiful. I use the gym, pool and hot tub regularly. The proximity to Oviedo on the Park is so ideal. Events, parades, daily walks, right there a quick walk away.
