The Southerly

I have been a resident of The Southerly for nearly nine years! I have loved living here! While I love the property and the location, I have to give the lion's share of credit to The Southerly leasing, maintenance & property management team. Michael is very visible around The Southerly, keeping the property clean and in order. He has also been very responsive on the rare occasion when I have made a request. Tia, Tae and Kim are dedicated, friendly and courteous, and over the years, I have come to view all of them more as "family" than staff, which is what has made The Southerly "home".

The property is very nice. The amenities are modern and meet the needs of most people. I was especially impressed with Kim's detail oriented yet welcoming manner. Kim was friensly, informed, gracious and impeccably covered every detail of the tour. She is also responsiveand very insightful. Definitely an asset to the property.

Michael, I believe, is the supervisor of the maintenance team at the Southerly in Towson. He recently came to our apartment to perform a routine filter change for our heating/A/C system and do a mini inspection. During our 3 yrs here we have never had a mini inspection so we really did not know what this inspection included. Michael went from room to room checking everything from doors/door handles to lint build up in the dryer lint trap. This inspection was extremely thorough and prevented us from having to put in several maintenance tickets. He worked quickly and when he was done he discussed everything he fixed and his plans for returning to fix pending issues. Having this inspection was a sigh of relief. Thank you Michael for an awesome inspection!

I have nothing but great things to say about the Southerly. The staff has been communicative and helpful. The parking situation is extremely convenient. The amenities like the gym and pool are great of course. I have only have good things to say!
