The Slate at Andover Apartments

My senior Dad has been at the Slate Apartments for a few years now. It is a very clean property and well maintained in all seasons. He enjoys the nice pool during the warmer seasons as well. The management/office team is also so super helpful to him whenever he has questions. I recently went to one of the apartment social events with my Dad for Bingo night. They packed a lot into that one hour social event - pizza, bingo, prizes, and social. Hosted by the management/office team - they are truly amazing & the heart of the Slate!

My packages are constantly getting stolen because they only have package lockers in one building and delivery drivers can’t access them because they’re behind locked doors so they leave them all over the place. At an affluent community it’s baffling that I can’t have packages delivered safely. Something is always broken (garage doors, fire alarms, trash shoots) and they increase rent drastically year over year ($200-300 increase/month). The apartments are nice but not well insulted so heating bills are high, the hallway on my floor is freezing so I put a towel inside my door to keep the cold out. I have a huge crack in my wall that I was told is “normal” as the building “settles”. Everyone who works in the office is very nice but I’m disappointed with my experience here.

Have been staying for 4th year now and can only say I love it !! What makes it worth living is the wonderful team in Office ( Rebecca , Dawn and Sydney) along with a very prompt and capable maintenance team who take care of this beautiful apartment complex. There is something or other exciting thing happening all around the year which keeps the place lively !!

I really love my apartment. It’s only a one bedroom but it’s very spacious. It feels like I’m living in a hotel. I love it so much. Everyone is super nice.
