PLEASE READ BEFORE LIVING HERE!! I’ll try my best to make this brief and to the point. You do not want to live here. To start, the leasing office is understaffed and the people that do work there, do not care about any type of convenience or resident experience. Even after leaving this location nearly two months ago, my partner has yet to receive his security deposit back, and when speaking with the leasing office, is met with zero help or guidance as to how and/or when he will get his money back. Moreover, within the 6 months my partner lived there, the following occurred: No running water in sinks or showers for 30 days (the one time a staff member did respond to our complaint, we were berated and made to seem crazy for asking when we would have water again). If I could give less than 1 star for the Shelton Apartments, I would. I lived there for 6 months before buying out of my lease early. Over the course of that time I experienced the following: - extremely poor communication from the staff about payments and maintenance issues in the apartments - loss of water in the apartment - bugs in the apartment - shootings outside of the apartment - A garage door that did not work for 95% of the time I lived there - a complete change in the site/service being used to pay rent without any communication. When I decided to move out, they became even more difficult by not allowing me to utilize the freight elevator on the weekends to move out large furniture. As of May 7th, 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic and Stay-At-Home orders, I called The Shelton apartments from the number listed on different rental sites such as Apartments.com and was immediately met with a rude staff member. I inquired about an apartment for August, and then I could hear her literally hang up the phone. I called again, the call went through, and without any words the staff member just hung up again. This is telling of the kind of people who will be managing your property during your lease, and I was very disappointed.

The Management and Maintenance Staff is Great!!!

There’s been 4 shootings around/at this complex in 2022. Don’t know what’s going on here
