The Retreat at Union Pond

My experience at Union Pond was horrific. During one of the worst periods in this economy they still will put a eviction notice on your door on third day of the month. They are a management company so they don't care about anything but money. I get they need to get their rent but absolutely no compassion is ridiculous. The place does not do anything to make quiet enjoyment an actual thing, as written in their lease. 6 weeks into living there and my kids and I were up at all hours of the night listening to domestic abuse and children crying. I would call the police and they wouldn't answer the door. They would go quiet. I would make complaints and the management would tell me they would deal with it and I don't know if this was ever true but it never stopped. And they did nothing about it.

I’ve been living at Union Pond for almost 12 years and I decided to finally write a review! First I’ll say I do like my apartment inside with all the amenities such as a dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, central ac and a washing machine and dryer which is great! I also have a nice view of the pond! The current staff at Union Pond work very hard to try and accommodate all your living needs in a timely and professional manner however the management company isn’t always accommodating or compassionate in time of need. Unfortunately there are some residents that don’t adhere to the rules of the lease but that certainly can happen at any apartment complex! I would only recommend living here at Union Pond if you like being near the beach and easy access to Cape Cod.

My experience has been great the ladies in the office are awesome. They are nice and have always treated me very kindly. I love that I can go in and talk to them if ever I have a problem and they get to it right away. Also the maintenance staff are great as well. All in all I've had a very pleasant experience here. I would recommend this place because of the staff. Plus the units are also nice inside.

Parking is getting difficult if not almost impossible at times. On 3/14 due to poor choices in snow placement many parking spots were used for snow when there were several viable alternatives.Also there are days where you just cant find a place to park.1 Also on several occassions I've noticed the trash by the compactor so piled up it was in the parking lot. many tennants have medium to large dogs, walking all hours of the night, and not cleaning up after them. Apartments are roomy but, hardly soundproof.

It was ok moving in .Then this place turn real quick. They excepted Rafth program. (Make sure you get it in writing) then once they got 10,000.00 out of Rafth they stop answering emails from Rafth then didn't tell me they make mistakes on my rent .if your a day late for rent they hit you with eviction notice every time plus you pay all leagel fees if it's short term rental here my God be with you Short term rental is better Get in and get out fast
